The spirits are afraid and hiding. Something dark is behind the veil. Something that Jynx has seen before, but does not want to discuss. What is beyond the gate?
As Jynx and I wandered towards the veil gate spirits surrounded us. They were so silent, that I could hear the aurora swirling above. One brave spirit came up and spoke to us. She was scared. She was so scared that she disappeared almost immediately.
Then the hum of the swirling veil became louder and lower. Two dark glowing eyes stared at us through the gate.
A lone silver feather floated upwards in front of it. I reached my hand upwards so I could grab it.
Lykie, don’t touch! Jynx stared at the gate, his eyes wide and glowing.
