The Teachings of Eluna
Eluna Moonglenn is:
Angelika’s mother.
Loved songs and involved in music all her life. Often sang answers to her children’s questions and made up short tunes as she worked.
She believed, that the time taken to sing words combined with the magic abilities that her children would develop, would help them deal with whatever situation would happen.
Murdered at the age of thirty-five.
Part pixie from a forest community off planet. Rumored to be descended from the great family of Queen Ruyn.
Master of animal magic. Largely does not use her powers, although she does help animals during tragedies such as floods and fires.
Loved to read and study about the ancient families of magic.
Met her husband Ashe Orion at a concert on an adjacent planet. Gave up her dream to sing in the Great Temples of the Echo Songs to have her children.
Eluna had two children, Angelika and Tobias II.
Kind and empathetic to all, but tends to fold when faced with adversity.
Sometimes getting lost is how we find where we're meant to be.

Unseen. Only seen in one chapter where she is murdered.
Her ongoing presence is felt through the memories Angelika has and her teachings.
Tries to protect her children but fails.

The world changes because ordinary people keep choosing goodness.
The Teachings of Eluna
Eluna passed down many teachings and beliefs that has become the foundation of how Angelika treats others. A few of these are below.
When judging a person, consider where they came from, and what they have experienced. The past can continue to affect a person’s personality and actions all of their life.
Kindness and empathy are the foundation of a happy person’s personality.
Sometimes when we end up in a place we did not expect, the universe is pushing us to where we are meant to be. Embrace the unknown.
The unusual and the unknown is not to be feared, especially in people. People who are unusual are those who embrace what is new. They choose to live their life on their own terms. When a person chooses kindness and empathy with this, you know you have met someone who you need to keep in your life.
When we choose to truly listen to others. Our beliefs can be changed for the better. Always listen before speaking. Always listen before judging.
Creatures understand far more than most people understand, and only act when they need to. They are far kinder than humans and human hybrids. Embrace creatures, especially when they find goodness in you and choose to embrace you.
We must live in harmony with our worlds. If we choose to control them, the delicate balance of the ecosystems will change and attack all that we find normal.
