Aidan was born 34 sols earlier in the Frostvale sphere close to the lake district
Appearance
Aidan has:
Curly black hair, with deep set eyes and pronounced cheek bones.
An athletic build developed through playing bright gun ( A game where light from a gun like instrument sends light waves out at other people. When hit the other person’s clothes become streaked with colors).
An average presence. He is 5 foot 5 inches.
Dresses in blue, green, burgundy and black. His shirt is often white. His clothes are relatively plain and serviceable.
Position
Number 3 in the Thau Maturge of the Magaus Alliance ( the Thau Maturge is the top 15 individuals in the Magaus Alliance. )Works with his cousin Chaiz Wolffbound the III to work to keep the head nest working.
Magic abilities
Working towards mastery of Interpersonal Magic.
Parents
Mother, Rowna, was the healer within the FrostVale region. Father was a translator for the Regents of the Frostvale Region. They were killed in a flood when Aidan was young. Aidan went to live at his cousin’s household. His uncle Owin and his aunt Miriyelli became his guardians.
Siblings
Has no blood siblings and was raised in his cousins family. He considers them to be brother and sisters, C,ousin Barin (m - 42), Cousin Rewo (deceased), Cousin Loneri (f- 34) - Cousin Chloe (f -7) - Cousin Chaiz (38).
Partner
Pinie (35 sols)- Head healer at Chaiz’s head nest.
First Appearance
Appears towards the the end of the novel.
Aidan’s Life
At the age of 4 Aidan’s life was dramatically changed when his mother and father were caught in a flash flood after weeks of torrential rain. Aidan was moved to the Wolffglenn’s ( his uncle and aunt).. For a few years he was angry at everyone and did not fit into the community well. His cousins Chaiz and Rewo spent a lot of time with Aidan and they became very close.
Chaiz was already learning with the Magaus Alliance when Aidan moved into the Wolffglenn household. Chaiz dragged Aidan to his assigned nest to meet his peers and his magic trainers. They saw that Aidan had potential in interpersonal magic. On weekends he was sent with other young people to learn about interpersonal magic. Aidan did this for many sols. He was moved from the Frostvale nest to Chaiz’s command when he was 28. He has worked their since then.
Aidan works as a sounding board to Chaiz. He advises the people below him in the nest. Aidan also negotiates contracts, researches magical issues in the universe, and helps Chaiz, and Elon occasionally, with planning, etc.
Aidan continues to work towards his mastery in Interpersonal magic. The trainers say it may only take a sol to master his powers.
Power & Magic
Primary Abilities
Magic - Working towards Mastery of Interpersonal Magic. Studies with the high trainer of the Magaus Alliance on the first of each moon. Recently, his progress has increased exponentially.
Intelligence - Mostly average, although he is incredibly gifted in understanding sport strategy. He is able to use this ability in his work.
Compassion and understanding - Aidan is known for his listening skills and his compassion. The men and women of the nest are comfortable talking to him, so he often stops problems from happening before they have started.
Secondary Traits
Sports (Especially magical) - Aidan is gifted in all kinds of magical sports. His interpersonal magic has allowed him to lead twelve teams to the Magaus Alliance Athletics Showdown.
Enthusiasm and Vocality - Aidan is outgoing and talkative. He tends to take over conversations even when he shouldn’t. When anyone accomplishes a goal, he is the first to congratulate them, and is likely to throw a party for them.
Limitations
Aidan has such a fine tuned sense of morality that he believes that a person is either doing right or wrong. He does not think that there is any between. This has often caused problems because he has chosen to evict people who have made mistakes from his life. Once these people are gone. He is unlikely to give them a second chance.
When angry Aidan pulls into himself and becomes silent. This is worse with the people he cares about the most. Aidan has been known to miss important events such as bonding days, holidays and anniversaries because he is angry and will not talk to others.
When Aidan is angry it affects his ability to worknwith Interpersonal magic. He has problems correctly identifying an individual’s energy field. At times he mistakes the type of emotion the other person is feeling. This is very problematic when out in the field. He refuses to acknowledge he has a temper problem and has not done anything to address his issues. Although he doesn’t become this way very often, he has been pulled from missions because of this.
