The 5th key, Transmutation Magic, and descendants of the fifth magical family, the Obscurai’s are active.
Why the Obscurai’s?
The Obscurai’ family has been two sided for many years. Some of the family are entertainers who worked in traveling circuses. They performed a variety of acts including acrobatics, singing and interpretive dance. Many of the others worked in the rock, gem and forest industries.
The Kilgerat brought their own men and women to planets and took over their natural industries Many families lost their way of making a living. Aurielle went to Tumbgala to protest the lack of work for people in the natural industries. She was infected by the bacteria. The bacteria affected her brain almost immediately. She was tormented for several months before her powers came to fruition. Aurielle was be able to transform basic rocks into gem and minerals

Fenric pens one of the most important scholarly work on the history of magic.
Kipa found a species of whale on the water world of Quata. Kipa was able to communicate with the whale and negotiate a treaty with the underwater kingdom on the planet.
Catalie developed a elite team that create a organization that saves creatures during disasters. It was instrumental in saving creatures during a volcanic eruption, tsunami, fire, and flood.

Garrick dropped out of the family early. Magnus thought that he was not taking his burgeoning powers seriously. He argued with Magnus and left, never returning or calling the family again. Garrick traveled, working on a ship carrying materials across galaxies. He died alone at the age of 74.
Fenric lost his eye sight working for a conglomerate mine. There was an accident where he risked his life going into a mine where several of the chambers had partially collapsed. A large boulder hit him on the head, causing damage to his brain, and eventual blindness.
Relationships to the other magical families of the top 13
Lorink Dreamseeker, key 10 - prophecy , was friends with the Obscurai family for many years. He predicted that the family would be involved in a major confrontation between the Magaus Alliance and a large threat to the universe.
