The 4th key, animal Magic, and descendants of the first magical family, the Ravenwood’s are active.
Why the Ravenwood’s?
The Ravenwood were always deeply in touch with the environment and animals. Many of the family’s ancestors were involved in animal husbandry, protest groups to protect endangered species, and animal doctors.
The Kilgerat killed ecosystems, destroyed animal species, and sold many species of animals to others. Seren went to Tumbgala to try to stop the animal slaughter. She was infected by the bacteria. It took several years for her full creature powers to occur.

Fenric pens one of the most important scholarly work on the history of magic.
Kipa found a species of whale on the water world of Quata. Kipa was able to communicate with the whale and negotiate a treaty with the underwater kingdom on the planet.
Catalie developed a elite team that create a organization that saves creatures during disasters. It was instrumental in saving creatures during a volcanic eruption, tsunami, fire, and flood.

Oak was killed by poachers who were trying to poach Mili Lions. There is a large black market trade in the western region for pets. Oak was working on saving several wolves from toxic air when she came across the poachers.
Falcon worked for years with large predator birds. Her assistant poisoned 24 of her charges before killing herself.

Relationships to the other magical families of the top 13
The Wolffbound family, key 7, were friends for many years. After Pina retired from the Magaus Alliance, the family moved far out in the eastern region and they lost touch. Early on in the relationship the families worked together to create a series of animal sanctuaries throughout the southern region. These sanctuaries are still in place.
