Status
The Vordant family, masters of Prophetic Magic, are active in the magical community.
Why the Vordants?
Before Thumgala, the Vordant’s worked mostly in the entertainment industry. They tended to work in plinaries, circus like groups, traveling from planet to planet. The owners of the plinaries often didn’t treat their employees well, and sent to them to locations where war, hatred and murder often happened. When rumors rose that there would be millions at Thumgala, Calibra, Elaric and the plinary they worked in, were sent to Thumgala to perform and make money. The plinary performed three shows before the bacteria fell.
Elaric was not in the location where the bacteria fell. Calibra was and underwent a massive transformation in seven brights (days). Calibra was said to have gone through torturous pain when she transformed. Her neural network was rewired leaving her with a new personality and new abilities.
The new personality set her at odds with her husband. They stayed bonded but often were apart on a couple of occasions lived apart.
During her lifetime, Calibra predicted that one of the 13 keys of magic would disappear, and appear years later to an unusual magical being. There may be m0re to this prophecy, but no one in understands the full prophecy.

Most important accomplishments by the family
Vaelorn had no magical powers of his own, but he saw how his family suffered when they had visions and prophecies. Vaelorn planne and implemented a study to examine prophets after vision to see the changes in the brain and to try to heal pain. His ultimate goal was to help prevent prophets early deaths.
Caelorn and Thesallia worked on the study Caelorn’s father began. They also work for the Magaus Alliance to monitor prophetical visions. The couple often passed friend to the Alliance in hop that he is unusual and that is more unimportant.
Melious is said to be one of the greatest prophets of the modern age. She is the prophet who told the Magaus Alliance that there was going to be a war on Unteber within the next twenty waves (hours). Because of this warning, the Magaus Alliance was prepared for an onslaught of violence and stopped the fighting almost immediately after it started. Melious also works with rich beings and their planets.

Worst Magical Disasters in the Family
Morellia was killed in a transport accident shortly after being bonded to Corvin. Corvin became depressed, slipped back into himself, and his abilities didn’t come to fruition.
Thelian had tremendous powers bubbling in his skin. But he was unable to transition.

No special relationships can be found, although members of the family are often seen and work with people form the other 13 families.
