Welcome to Spunky and Spellbound in the Snow
I am a northern Ontario writer who loves to write fantasy. My heroines are gutsy, spunky individuals, who refuse to stay small or quiet.
Welcome to the fantastical world of Erudus, where dragons fill the sky, and magic abounds.
Welcome and a virtual hello! I’m glad you’re reading this post. Welcome to the magical world of Angelika Moonglenn and her shape shifting side kick Jynx. They work together to try to make their world of Erudus a better place.
Me and fantasy.
I have always dreamed about fantastical realms, where dragons play and magic abounds. Over the years, I wrote quirky adventures, about strange and awe inspiring worlds. I wanted to spend my working hours writing, creating strange creatures, new worlds and strong, spunky, female characters. But, time had other ideas, and the business of survival got in the way.
While I built I life, I studied creative writing, and joined organizations such as NOWW (Northern Ontario Writer’s Workshop), to refine my craft.
These days, I have more time, and I have begun to revisit my old characters and worlds. I hope that through sharing my articles, I can share my joy for the fantastical with you.
What you will find on Spunky and Spellbound in the Snow.
In my posts you will find glimpses into the tales that I want to write. These posts are journeys, that explore new thoughts that unexpectedly pop-up, and refine my magical world.
Character building, geological locations, magical systems, and writing tools will also surface. I may also share parts of my life, and how my surroundings in a snowy but beautiful area of the world, integrate into my word. I hope that what you see will be valuable to you.

For now, all of my content will be free. I am currently posting Monday giggles, occasional short writing snippets, Friday descriptions of magic, Saturday articles about characters, and Sunday posts on writing tools or the environment of Erudus. I might even post some bonus content.
If you have any questions please leave a comment. I hope to meet you virtually soon.
Remember to take care, and take the time every day, to reach for the stars.
