About The Wanderer Between Worlds
Erudus has lived in the sky for eons, far out in space, where the world is forgotten. Wanderers who find this world, learn that it’s soul beats with magic and that it’s story continues to evolve.
Welcome to The Wanderer Between Worlds, the home of the fantasy world of Erudus, where magic, stellar gates, mountain hearthkin, and unlikely friendships live under the ever present aurora
My name is Susan Rader, and I’ve created the world of Erudus, where the mountains remember the past, the forest live by the Mother Tree, and peoples lives are ruled by magic.
Angelika Moonglenn, a woman who has escaped from her home world through a cosmic gate, finds herself in a world friendless, with nothing and with no idea where she is. She is frightened of her past, but she learns that her future on Erudus may be even more terrifying. Angelika must survive on this new world while convincing the people that she is worthy of being called Erudian.
And then there is Jynx.
Jynx is a white lynx, her migaly, a magical companion, and her devoted friend. He would die for her, but he is distracted by food, napping, and correcting hooomans who he finds annoyingly wrong. Don’t ask Jynx his opinion, because he will tell you what he thinks, over and over again.
The Wanderer Between Worlds is more than a story, it’s a living world.
The novel I am writing provides the central story, but this publication, talks about the world of Erudus.
You can explore.
Read Short snippets, meet extraordinary characters, like Keefee Minoth, the mountain mogul. You can also study the civilizations that grew on the harsh world of Erudus where the Bitterwinds blow.
Meet the cultures to explore their magical traditions, learn how to create an ancient charm, and learn about the families and types of magic.
Learn about migalies. Supernatural creatures that attach themselves to magical beings.
Meet Jynx and listen to hid questionable advice. Please don’t tell him his advice is wrong. You’ll regret it.
Every home has stories. traditions, and recipes. Gather with us around the hearths of Erudians to see how they live.
Music and sound vibrate from the very core of Erudus outwards. See how music lives on Erudus and listen to its theme.
Some articles will describe details from the story. Others will introduce you to the without reading from the novel I’m working on. You can immerse yourself here.
Why I’ve created Erudus.
I have been reading since childhood. Mysteries, science fiction and fantasy has always kept my mind drifting among the stars when life’s challenges became to much.
Now I have the opportunity to spend more time in creative things including painting, pottery and writing. Each allows me to expand my world and imagination.
Erudus was born from my love of stories and the amazing landscapes near me in Northern Ontario. The rivers, forests, mountains, and aurora here, have inspired me to set my story in a world, that is going through difficult if not catastrophic times, against its outward beauty.
I hope you enjoy my exploration of Erudus and its people both from the outside and from the conflict within.
What to expect
My articles are for readers who enjoy immersive world-building, and exploration of characters and their motivations, magic and a little bit of humor.
Each week there will be different things. There will be stories, articles, character revelations, and of course Jynx. As the seasons change, there will be music and celebrations.
Begin with whatever you like. Most of the articles can be read in any order. Just dive in.

We’re almost done, but not quite.
Jynx would like it noted that he is the most important reason to subscribe.
Angelika has declined comment.
Wait, sorry, one more thing!
Barrow and Spirit don’t want you to forget about them. They show up weekly too!
