Throughout time, Migalies have been the most mysterious and misunderstood beings on Erudus. They are magical creatures who can form phenomenal bonds with a magical being. No one knows why they choose their companion, but once they do, they will follow their being forever, even if it means walking through the veil.
Migalies protect and share magic with their companions. As the magical duo’s bonds deepen, they become so connected, that no one throughout time has been able to explain the bond. In rare cases, their minds are so attuned to their companion, that they can communicate non-verbally.

A migaly is not a pet, a familiar, or a friend. He’s not quite a companion, although he has all the traits of one. A Migaly is hard to define. Most people stop trying.
Nobody will ever own a Migaly. The bond between the Migaly and his companion begins only when the Migaly chooses. He stays for as long as he wants, and he chooses how close the bond becomes. This bond will change the Migaly companion’s life.
Some bonds remain quiet. Others deepen until the line between two beings becomes increasingly difficult to find.
Migalies have different magical abilities. This depends upon type of magical creature the migaly is and the bond level.
Most Migalies can sense magic and enter places others cannot. All Migalies make their opinions known, but some are more polite than others.
Jynx is a special Migaly in that he can communicate with Angelika telepathically, he’s very opinionated, and always impolite. Telepathic communication with a Migaly’s companion is a rare ability.
Some Migalies also can enter places, including magical realms, and the veil. There is a growing list of abilities. Many have not yet been discovered.
